A Chartered Engineer with an extensive 26 year background in the Process, Civil & Building sectors with over 10 years of senior management experience as a Director of Birse Construction Ltd and Managing Director of Walter Lawrence Civil & Mechanical Ltd before forming Hargreaves Jones Ltd in January 2006.

Prior to Hargreaves Jones, he combined operational and commercial abilities to successfully develop client relationships with the major Oil, Gas & Water companies in the UK and latterly overseas to develop and expand the respective businesses he managed in to major players in their particular fields of construction.

Since Hargreaves Jones was incorporated Peter has been engaged continuously on a diverse range of commissions in the oil & gas sector primarily in Project and Construction Management roles including the successful completion of the Langeled Gas Receiving Facility at Easington for WorleyParsons and Statoil and more recently as the Subsurface Project Manager on the Aldbrough Gas Storage Facility for Jacobs and their clients SSE and Statoil.

Consultancy qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor, working in the building /construction sector during the 1980’s and 1990’s before moving into gas, process and rail capital infrastructure sectors where invaluable experience over recent years has been gained in a highly technical, procedural driven environment.

His portfolio of experience includes working for Capita Symonds with clients such as Defence Estates (RAF - Airfield Restorations), Transco and Network Rail, on both pre and post contract work.

Over recent years developed a change management control model with colleagues and successfully worked with clients such as National Grid in the application of their commercial risk strategies, budget allocation, cost monitoring and project spend out turn cost forecasting.

Over the past three years Glynn has been engaged in commercial commissions with a number of major clients including SSE, Scotia Gas Networks, Statoil and National Grid on a variety of infrastructure capital spend projects. He has also carried out audit and rating work on new build facilities.
