MRICS MCIOB Consultancy qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor, working in the building /construction sector from 1985 to 1999 before moving into gas pipelines and receiving facilities, overhead transmission lines (up to 400kV), rail capital infrastructure sectors and more recently the nuclear sector, where invaluable experience has been gained in a highly technical, procedural driven environment. Before forming Hargreaves Jones, his portfolio of experience included working for Capita with clients such as Defence Estates (RAF - Airfield Restorations), Transco and Network Rail, on both pre and post contract work. Glynn has developed strong, long lasting working relationships leading commercial teams on large multi-million pound projects, operating at all levels within the project delivery process from daily liaison at customer Executive Board Level to supporting junior quantity surveyors in developing their commercial and cost management skills. Alongside Peter Hargreaves and the other Directors, who have joined Hargreaves Jones as the company has grown, Glynn has been engaged in several key infrastructure energy projects for clients such as SSE, Scotia Gas Networks, Statoil and Centrica. He also continues to deliver commercial and quantity surveying consultancy services on a daily basis, based in the clients own head office or site based locations, leading commercial teams in support of their project management /delivery team colleagues.
